Provide positive, secure, meaningful employment for people with disabilities and those facing other barriers to employment.

How? By creating one-of-a-kind, comfy blankets from fabric scraps that were headed to the trash.

So, we’re doing good stuff for the planet too.

More than

An Intentionally Inclusive

At Inspired-Threads, we're getting creative when it comes to the employment of our most vulnerable
and marginalized community members. We're building an intentionally inclusive workplace that promotes diversity -- an environment where people with and without disabilities work together as equal contributors, colleagues, and peers -- in the exciting world of eco-fashion.

Eco-Friendly BLankets

The Inspired-Threads team skillfully creates one-of-a-kind blankets using only upcycled apparel, fabric scraps and other materials headed to the landfill. We can also include your t-shirts, jerseys, shorts, sweatshirts, flannels - just about anything that’s
made from soft fabric. The result is a cozy keepsake that is designed
to tell a story, provide comfort, and spark joy and goodwill.

Advocates for Integrated Employment

Inspired-Threads aims to dispel the biases, misconceptions and fears that fuel barriers to employment equity. We strive to show that a diverse and inclusive workforce is not only the right thing to do, it’s also good business.  Every member of the Inspired-Threads team is empowered to advocate for the rights of all people, with and without disabilities, to realize the promise of independence and community that employment brings.
