At the moment, we can ship anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. Shipping speed depends on the type of product you order and what shipping speed you select at checkout.
Our one-of-a-kind, ready made stock blankets, such as a neutral, black and white, or designer collection blankets, ship within 1 week of your order. From there, your shipping speed will depend upon the shipping option chosen at check-out
Custom blankets can vary in preparation time. In general, custom color blankets are completed more quickly than custom memory blankets. Length of time to create your blanket will depend largely on your own needs and participation, including how we arrange the sharing of clothing to include in the blanket, and communication between you and the designer.
In general, we ask that you allot a month between placing your order and receiving the blanket. If you are purchasing the blanket for a specific date/event, please let us know when you fill out the form received in the order confirmation email so that we can accommodate that to the best of our abilities.
When you preorder a blanket, that means the blanket has been started (meaning a color palette and fabric scrap selection has been chosen), but the blanket is not completely finished and posted on the website for sale. At the time of purchase, your preorder blanket may be at any stage of production, from hardly started to nearly finished. For this reason, it's hard to give a set timeline for preorders.
In general, you can expect your preordered blanket to ship within 1-4 weeks of placing your order. Please let us know if you need this blanket by a specific date at the time of placing your order, either through email, DM, checkout notes, or the contact us page, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
If you are local to the area (we are based in Hamilton, New Jersey), you can arrange to pick up your blanket and have the shipping fee waived.
To do this, please select the Pick Up option at checkout. We will reach out to you via email to schedule your pickup time.
All order pick-ups will take place at The Social Profit Center at Mill One in Hamilton, NJ. We ask that you wear a mask when picking up your order, and in turn we promise to limit any contact as much as possible to ensure the safety of you and our team.
We want everyone to love their Inspired Threads blankets! If you are unsatisfied with your Inspired-Threads blanket in any way, please reach out to us and we'll see if we can make it right. If you would like to return your blanket, we can accept returns for non-custom blankets within 90 days, as long as the blanket is unused, in exchange for another blanket or store credit. Please contact us via email or the form on our contact us page if you have any issues.
At this time, we are only accepting returns for custom blankets if the item is damaged or defective.
Inspired Threads blankets make fantastic gifts! If you would like to order a gift for a loved one, we would love to help make it as special as possible.
At the moment, we do not have an option to input a gift message on our checkout; however, we are more than happy to include one in the packaging. Please reach out to us at the time of purchase to let us know you would like to include a gift message and we will gladly include it.
